Within the church, the men have supported benefits for Hospice and Costa Rica Missions. The UMM have built ramps and done light repairs for the elderly at Friendship and for others in need in the community.

In addition, the UMM minister to the church through events such as the Christmas and Easter Breakfasts. In recent months, we have started a Bible Study for Men to provide support, accountability, and guidance for men in the life of the church.

The United Methodist Men meet each month for breakfast on the third Sunday of the month at 7:30 AM.

Some of the most prominent and major contributors in our churches and community are the widows/widowers. They strive to help in every way possible and we would not accomplish our ministry without their assistance. Therefore, the United Methodist Men of Mt. Beulah UMC, with the support of Friendship UMC, is proud to host the 2nd Annual “Widows/Widowers Banquet” at Friendship UMC, dn Newton, NC, on March 10, 2012 at 6:00 p.m.

On behalf of both churches we cordially invite the widows/widowers of our congregation and immediate community to attend this special Banquet. We welcome each attendee to bring a guest as we show appreciation to these fine individuals.

If you would like to attend, please contact our church secretary, Angela Dean at the church office (828) 464-5408
